Players can fight against AI controlled opponents on three different maps modeled after iconic WWII battles. This involved implementing third-party rendering solutions to optimize performance as over 10,000 dynamic trees and foliage comprised the world. I, along with another student, sculpted a 4km x 4km world for the player to explore. This was our first 3D Unity project and I was a primary level designer and secondary event scripter for the project. This game teaches players basic navigational and terrain negotiation skills by dropping them into a massive 4×4 km world and having them navigate to a helicopter rescue point, using compasses, flares, the sun’s position, and other items.
